Johnelle Jackson 01/02/1956 - 10/12/2025
Johnelle Ann Jackson, age 69, of Alcoa, Tennessee passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025. Born in Hawaii and raised in California, she was a long-time resident of Alcoa, Tennessee. Proceeded in death by her parents John and Josephine Martin and sister Carol Lewis. Survived by husband Roderick Jackson, sons David (Elyshia) Martin and Jalen Jackson. Grandchildren Logan Cummings, Aleigha Cooper, and Keehen Martin. Brother Jordan (Marla) Martin, sisters Melissa (Tony) Martinez, Sherri Ayala, Winona Brooks and many beloved nephews, nieces, and dear friends. She worked with Dr. Steven F. Pierce in Obstetrics & Gynecology for over 20 years and with Senior Care Partners of East TN for over a decade. Johnelle served on the Alcoa School Board and the Alcoa Tennessee Federal Credit Union Voluntary Board. She was in the first class of the Alcoa Police Citizens Academy and Leadership Blount class of 2001. She also volunteered with Remote Area Medical and Wreaths Across America as well as numerous local organizations in the Blount County area. Outside of her career she was an avid gardener and a big fan of all her grandchildren’s activities. With her big smile and lots of positive energy Johnelle has left a legacy of service, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and community.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Martin Luther King Community Center from 1:00pm – 3:00pm.
