Tracy Elizabeth Cox 03/02/1980 - 10/07/2026
Tracy Elizabeth Cox passed away on October 7, 2026. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Tracy was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Maryville. She worked as a floor technician supervisor at the University of Tennessee Medical Center for 26 years, dedicating many years of service to her work.
In her free time, Tracy enjoyed watching football on Saturdays, gaming, trying different foods, and boxing in Notre Dame. These interests brought her joy and created special memories with those around her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald B. Cox; her puppy daughters, Zoe Cox and Jenna Cox; her grandchildren, including the unborn child of Jenna Curtis and Jessie Curtis; her parents, Steve and Wendy Curtis, Shannon Curtis and Robert Benoit; her brothers, Joshua Curtis, Chad Cox; and her sisters, Ashley Garcia, Elizabeth Reynolds, and Jennifer Jones.
She was preceded in death by Freda and Grady Monague; Sudie Hobson Jones; her uncles, Raymond, Christopher, and Justice Jones; Gladis and Donald Cox; Tamara Cox; and Dennis.
Travy's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her life, love, and the memories she created with those closest to her will continue to be cherished for years to come.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on October 17, 2026, at the basketball court at Sandy Springs.
In honor of Travy, family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate the life of someone who meant so much to so many.
