Dorothy Tinker 10/15/1932-06/21/2025
Dorothy K. Tinker, age 92, passed away on June 21, 2025. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Dorothy faithfully served the Lord at Monta Vista Baptist Church throughout her life. She is survived by her daughter, Penny, and son-in-law, Doug Prentice; grandson, Matthew Prentice, his wife, Amanda, and their children, Carter and Charlie; granddaughter, Emily Anderson, her husband, Austin, and their son, Aaron. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna; husband, Garland; parents, J.E. and Sarah Kirkland; sisters, Betty (Cliff) Bible, Wanda (Roger) Woods, and Loretta Bain; in-laws, Arthur and Dica Tinker; and brother-in-law, Glen (Betty) Tinker.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the Grandview Cemetery Pavilion, 2304 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803.
