Tony Hill 10/26/1959-06/15/2025
Tony Edmond Hill "Doc" went to be with the Lord on June 15th, 2025, where he was reunited with his grandparents Claude and Dena Jackson, Ed and Stella "Doll" Hill, & in-laws William & Marie Tipton.
He left behind his wife of 43 years Sherry, his son Nathanial, and daughter and son-in-law Natasha and Jonathan Bass. He also left behind his parents Raymond and Sue Hill along with his sister and brother-in-law Tammy and Ajax Headrick, and multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends.
Tony song bass for two gospel groups - The Brantley's and the Union Grove Singers. His tremendous love for music led him to join the Sevierville Old Harp Singers a few years ago and it became his passion.
He was a true farmer at heart with a gift for growing vegetables. He loved reading, knowledge, and history. He worked as a machinist, a carpenter, and a grain truck driver.
Receiving of friends will be at Blount Funeral & Cremation at 2730 Hwy 411 S, Maryville, TN 37801 on Friday June 20th, 2025, from 5:00-7:00pm. The funeral will be held by Reverend Brian Whitehead following the receiving of friends. Burial will be June 21st, 2025, at the Grandview Cemetery Pavilion at 2304 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803 at 11:00am.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the EMT/Paramedics that got Tony to the hospital, and a special thanks to the ER and Comfort Care personnel at Blount Memorial that did everything they could for him and were so kind and understanding to the family.
