Floyd Lynn Stillwell, age 60, of Maryville, passed away on May 5, 2026. Born on June 6, 1965, Floyd was a devoted family man, faithful Christian, and hardworking roofer who spent many years working alongside family through Stillwell’s Roofing.

Floyd was known for his curious spirit, open heart, and willingness to try new things. He had a warm and agreeable nature that drew people to him. His unwavering faith in the Lord Almighty guided his life, and he found great joy in attending church and feeling the presence and spirit of the Lord. To Floyd, faith and family went hand in hand, and the bonds he shared with loved ones were among the most important parts of his life.

In his free time, Floyd enjoyed camping, board games, baking, cooking, gardening, and attending car shows. Whether sharing a meal, spending time outdoors, or gathering with family, he treasured simple moments and meaningful connections.

Floyd is survived by his ex-wife, Lorie Stillwell; daughter, Rachel Stillwell-Powers; son, Daniel Stillwell; brother, Avery Stillwell; sister, Jewell Cogdill; brother, Earl Stillwell; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Stillwell; father, Herbert Stillwell; stepfather, Webster Stillwell; brothers, Gerald Stillwell, Herbert Stillwell II, and Oscar Stillwell; and stepbrother, Stacey Stillwell.

The receiving of friends will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

John 3:16 was Floyd’s favorite scripture and reflected the faith he carried throughout his life:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Floyd’s love, faith, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
