Joseph “Joe” Wesley Story 11/04/1962 - 11/19/2025
Joseph “Joe” Wesley Story, 63 of Maryville, Tennessee, left this world on November 19, 2025. He was born in Franklin, Ohio, to Almon and Brenda Story. He grew up in Cabot, Arkansas. Joe founded Story Concrete in the early 1980s in Arkansas, then moved it to Tennessee in the early 1990s, where he lived the rest of his days.
Joe’s passions were his work, gambling, hunting, and fishing. If he wasn’t on a job site, you could find him at the nearest casino, or on his boat casting his fishing pole. Joe had a stubborn streak, and that is why you are reading this today. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his youngest sister, Donna Story-Tarno.
Joe is survived by his sisters, Debbie (Don) Miller of Gulf Breeze, Florida, Mary Dunn of Cabot, Arkansas, his brother, Wayne Story of Jacksonville, Arkansas, two nieces, three nephews, and several great nieces and great nephews.
A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date in Arkansas.
