Kara C. Gregory 01/18/1941-06/25/2025
Kara C. Gregory, Jr. known to family and friends as Jay went to be with our Lord June 25, 2025. Jay was born Jan. 18, 1941 to Kara and Martha Gregory, whose ancestry traces back to early Cades Cove and Gregory Bald.
Jay spent 32 years working for United Airlines traveling intensively and making lifetime friends. After retirement he developed a lasting and loving interest in Antiques and Primitives. He and Debbie established Druid Hill Antique Mall in 2012 where he became a trusted and valued voice to friends and customers seeking advise and recommendations until 2022. He was preceded in death by parents Kara and Martha Gregory, step-daughter Tiffany Tallent, sister Judith Gregory Celentano, brother James Gregory, brother-in-law Glen Head.
He is survived by wife, Debbie Tallent, Daughter Angela Gregory, and son John (Amanda). Grandchildren; Orion, Meghan, Avery and Garret and mother of his children Sandra Gregory, sister, Martha Sue Gregory Head, many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Saturday July 19th 5-7PM at Everett Hills Baptist Church with Pastor Douglas Hayes officiating.
