Laura LaVerne Hitch 11/25/1932 - 10/03/2025
Laura LaVerne Hitch, age 92, of Maryville, passed away peacefully Friday, October 3rd, 2025. Proceeded in death by her husband, Bob Hitch, brother, Theodore Garner, sisters, Frankie Linginfelter, Johnnie Johnston, Faye Bryant and Mary Arrowood, parents Wiley and Ola Garner.
Survivors include her sons, Robert “B.D.” Hitch and Stan Hitch both of Maryville; grandchildren, Pete Hitch, Scott Hitch, Brad Hitch; great grandchildren, Laura, Todd, Hazel, Gus, and Iris.
She had the strongest bond and love of Bob, enjoying 69 years of marriage. She loved her family, crafting, and spoiling her pets.
The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers and asks that, instead of flowers, you do a random act of kindness for a stranger. The family will be having a private service to celebrate her life.
