Phyllis S. Lovelace, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Phyllis was born May 23, 1952, in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania to Raymond and Elna (Staman) Storti. She attended San Diego State University and graduated from the University of Evansville. She married Raymond E. Lovelace on September 27, 1988, in Sebring, Florida. Following university, Phyllis had careers in education, medical radiology with her husband, and as an owner/operator of Butterfields Kitchen store prior to her retirement. Phyllis was an avid volunteer and supporter of Good Shepherd Hospice of Sebring, Florida.
Phyllis loved to travel and entertain. She was an excellent cook and was fiercely devoted to her family and many friends. She will be greatly missed.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by her six siblings; Mark Storti (Susan), Patricia Storti, Raymond Storti Jr. (Maggie), Matthew Storti (Teresa), Elna Johnson (Bill), Amy Beskar, and her nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Raymond E. Lovelace Jr. (Kim), Denise Lovelace, Nadine LaBell, and her grandchildren, Morgan Lovelace, Maggie Lovelace and Dylan Hawkins.
Phyllis will be interred in a private service to be held in Sebring, Florida. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials in Phyllis’ name may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice of Sebring, Florida, or to a charity of your choosing.
