Elder Ronald Whitehead 05/25/1950 - 08/18/2026

Elder Ronald Whitehead passed away on August 18, 2026. He was born on May 25, 1950, to Robert Lee and Josephine Whitehead.

He was employed at Alcoa Aluminum Company for 35 years before his retirement.
Ronald was a dedicated pastor who served Pine Top Primitive Baptist Church, Red Top Primitive Baptist Church, Millers Cove Primitive Baptist Church, Cove Road Primitive Baptist, and Meadow Branch Primitive Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara Headrick Whitehead; sons Jeff Whitehead and his wife Brandy, and Greg Whitehead and his wife Rachel; daughter Missy Murphy and her husband William; grandchildren Grace Whitehead, Abby Whitehead,Audrey Wilson, Mary Beth Wilson, Katie Whitehead, Johanna Whitehead, Sunny Whitehead, and Zeke Whitehead; and great-grandchildren :Aliza Whitehead, Nyla Bailey, Jagger Martin, and Henry Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Whitehead and Josephine Whitehead; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Maynard and Mabel Headrick. In lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made to Millers Cove Cemetery. PO Box 213, Walland, TN 37886

Visitation will be held on August 21, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Miller’s Cove Primitive Baptist Church. 819 W Millers Cove Rd, Walland, TN 37886. A graveside service will be held on August 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Miller’s Cove Cemetery. 317 W Millers Cove Rd, Walland, TN 37886. Elder Jeff Whitehead will conduct the service.
