Steven M. Hancock 05/02/1963 - 08/05/2026
Steven M. Hancock 63 of Knoxville, Tn, went home to be with his parents Charles and Charolette Hancock on August 5th, 2026.
He was a source to be reckoned with a big heart but an even bigger spirit. He went out fighting just like he came into the world. Steve came into this world with a double cleft palette and was determined to live in fact he lived a good life, met a lot of good people along the way. Steve did not always make the best of choices, but he did find love in the end. Steve was a fighter and he fought a good race and just know he fought until the very end. Steve had a big heart even know he did not always know how to show it.
Preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Hancock; father, Charles Hancock; brother, Jeff Hancock; brother, Donald Hancock; Aunt, Gracie Russell; Uncle, Samuel Russell (Pud), Uncle, Henry Russell; Uncle, Wade Russell; Uncle, Hard Russell; Aunt, Alama De'Arman; Brother-in-law, Eddie Rackard.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Hancock; daughter, Stephanie Morgan; Granddaughters, Josephine Morgan; Gracie Lawson and Amelia Morgan; Son in Law, Tadd Morgan; brothers, David Hancock and Reece Hancock; and sisters, Sharon Rackard and Tina Hancock; and numerous of nieces and nephews and cousins and friends.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in know that Steve is not hurting anymore and that he has both his legs and is walking with his dad. Per his wishes He was cremated.
We will be having the receiving of friends on Sunday August 9, 2026 from 5pm-6pm and then a small service at 6pm for Steve at In Christ Ministries Church at 811 Drive E Knoxville Tn 37920 for all that would like to join.
