Verlin Douglas Masingo, age 75, passed away on March 8, 2026. He was born on May 28, 1950.

Verlin was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Tallent; his parents, Verlin and Pearl Masingo; and his sister, Cleo Mills.

He is survived by his loving children, Joy (Kevin) LaForce and Jeremy Masingo. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Tanner (Jessica) LaForce and their children, Austin (Kandice) Lyttle, Annastasia Colyer-Masingo, and Taylor LaForce, along with many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

In accordance with Verlin’s wishes, no services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Joy of Dawn at joyofdawn.org in his memory.
