Willard Aubrey Crowe III “Bill,” age 72, of Maryville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on March 22, surrounded by family.
Bill was born on November 3, 1953, in Richmond, Virginia, to Willard “Chuck” Crowe and Lillian Crowe. He attended Lee-Davis High School in Mechanicsville, Virginia, and later graduated from East Tennessee State University.
He built a successful career in the automotive and truck equipment industry. Bill was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and the pride he took in providing for his family.
Whether he was coaching and cheering for his son’s teams or supporting his daughter's creativity he was a loving and devoted father.
Though not a native Tennessean, Bill embraced his home and became a passionate supporter of the Volunteers. He truly bled orange and white.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Mandy (Drew) Baynes; his son, John (Erica) Crowe; his spouse, Dawn and the Lilyblad family; his grandchildren, Charlie Baynes and Riley Crowe; his sister Patricia Hannan and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, April 2, from 3–6 p.m. at Blackhorse Pub & Brewery in Alcoa. Please come raise a glass and share a memory in honor of Bill. A future celebration of life will also be planned in Richmond, Virginia.
