William Shan Inman 08/28/1961 - 08/11/2025
William Shan Inman, son of Stanley Inman and Betty Inman Buchanan, is survived by siblings Malcolm (Betty) Inman and his children Amy, Josh, and Tyler; Macheala (Tony) Humphrey and their children Lee (Chelsea) Humphrey, Rachel (Drew) Goins; Jeanette (David) Flangan; Porky (Kim) Inman and their children Bethany (Tim) Spurlock and Amanda (Phillip) Little. Uncle to eight great-nephews and two great-nieces. He also held dear like a son; Ben Wilson, and close friends Tommy Ray, Sean Johnson, and Marty Borden. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family, casting a line on a quiet lake, spinning legendary (and often exaggerated) fish tales, and trading guns like a true backwoods businessman. A proud redneck with a big heart and sharp wit, he never met a deal (or a fish story) he couldn’t improve. And if you knew him well, you knew the stories he could tell some true, some not, but all unforgettable. Visitation will be held on Thursday August 14, 2025 from 5-7pm at Blount Funeral and Cremation.
