Alma Alicia Ibarra Herrera 08/17/1969 - 04/28/2026

Alma Alicia Ibarra Herrera, age 56, of Maryville, TN, went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2026, surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Octavio Sanchez Cortes; three children, Octavio Sanchez Ibarra (Michelle), Orlando Sanchez Ibarra, and Alicia Sanchez Ibarra; father, Juan Ibarra Arreola; and siblings.

She was preceded by her mother, Prudenciana Herrera Arteaga, and her grandparents.

Alma loved her family dearly, and will be remembered as an amazing mom, wife, and daughter.

On Saturday, May 9, 2026, family will receive family and friends at 1:30 PM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Alcoa, TN. Mass will follow at 2:30 PM. Reception will then be held at 4:00 PM.
