In Loving Memory of Thaddeus

Thaddeus, age 24, will be remembered for his bright spirit, kind heart, and the laughter he brought into the lives of everyone who knew him. He had a natural gift for humor, often doing cartoon voices to lighten the moment and keep those around him smiling—even when he himself was struggling.

One of the many memories that will live on is how he would turn even the simplest moments into something meaningful. While getting his hair cut, he would call out to each strand as it fell, giving it a name as if it were family. Years later, he shared that he did this because his hair felt like the only family that never fought or made him feel like he had to choose. It was a reflection of how deeply he longed for peace, connection, and unconditional love.

Thaddeus found his peace in gaming, dirt biking, and collecting katanas, throwing knives, and pocket knives. He was passionate about the things he loved and found moments of escape and happiness in them. He cherished his friendships and held a deep love for his family. His loyal dog, Rylie, was especially dear to him and brought him comfort and companionship.

A man of faith, Thaddeus believed in God and carried that belief with him through life’s challenges. Though he faced many internal battles, he continued to seek peace and understanding in the best ways he knew how. He loved deeply, even when he often felt alone.

Thaddeus leaves behind his loving mother, Lenee; his brother and best friend, Ashton; and his loving sister, Myah. He is also survived by his grandparents, Stephen and Zobeyda Driscoll, and Debbie and Ron James; his uncle, Adam Driscoll; his aunt and uncle, Destiny and Billy Palmer; aunt June Hoskinson and his best friend, Ricky Jurgens, with whom he shared many ups and downs. He is also remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a great-grandmother.

Those who knew him take comfort in believing that he is now at peace—safe, whole, and surrounded by love. He is reunited with his Aunt Cheryl, his Grandpa Driscoll, and others who have gone before him, held in the Lord’s arms and free from the pain he carried for so long.

Thaddeus’s life, though far too short, was filled with meaning, love, and moments that will never be forgotten. His memory will live on in the laughter he inspired, the love he gave, and the hearts he touched.

He is forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.

Here is one of the last verses we went through together.

Psalms 91: 2-11

2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,

    my God, in whom I trust.”

3 Surely he will save you

    from the fowler’s snare

    and from the deadly pestilence.

4 He will cover you with his feathers,

    and under his wings you will find refuge;

    his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

5 You will not fear the terror of night,

    nor the arrow that flies by day,

6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,

    nor the plague that destroys at midday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,

    ten thousand at your right hand,

    but it will not come near you.

8 You will only observe with your eyes

    and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”

    and you make the Most High your dwelling,

10 no harm will overtake you,

    no disaster will come near your tent.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you

    to guard you in all your ways;
